The humble representation of the careedars residing ... Chinnapuram

These many years since there being no mamul of keeping the Circar's indigo potts in our village whether it being under aumany or rent, the thread of the Company's goods or private goods were hitherto bluing ourselves usually by employing the workers for that purpose and giving him indigo, etc. whatever wanted for working the same —

Now Dudavariah Tummiah sent one of his peons to our village with an order to break of the potts wherein we were usually bluing our thread wherefore we humbly beg your honor will take this our case unto your serious consideration & grant us relief —
