Navigating gutenberg-e is simple. Using the mouse, click on any of navigation links: home, search, links, about, authors, contact us, or help. From the homepage, you can view any book by clicking on its title. The subsequent page is the book1s title page with a list of chapters. The media icons beneath the top navigation bar link to the book's collections of images, audio and media files, and an archive of additional information including transcripts, appendices, and more. Software Gutenberg-e is optimized to operate with Netscape Communicator 4.7 and above and Internet Explorer 5 and above. The minimum hardware requirements are determined by the specifications of the internet browser software being used to access Gutenberg-e. Gutenberg-e is rich with archival materials including audio, video and manuscript pages. Below is information about formats available and how to view this content: Video files on gutenberg-e are viewable with either Quicktime or RealOne Player. These programs are often included as plugins for browsers. If you experience problems viewing video on gutenberg-e you may have to download the plug in.
